1On June 29, 2026 Judge Torres sentenced Miles Guo to a term of 30 years in prison. 2Guo was also ordered to forfeit $889 million in proceeds from his illegal schemes, as well as his interest in specific property. 3The Court found that restitution was impracticable and recognized the Government's intention to repay victims through a remission process, following the completion of forfeiture. 4The Court further announced it would provide more information concerning forfeiture soon. 5If you are a victim of Miles Guo, please monitor this website for information regarding forfeiture and remission.

1Judge Torres ordered the Government to submit a letter by January 9, 2026 addressing: "(1) the differences between petitions for remission of forfeited assets and claims submitted under Section 853(n), and whether the Government proposes any method for resolving the various claims; and (2) its position on the Court's appointment of a special master to make recommendations related to third-party claims in this case under Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 53."

1On August 11, 2025, the Court entered a Preliminary Order of Forfeiture as to Specific Property/Money Judgment against Miles Guo which, among other things, forfeited Guo's interest in certain property. 2Any victims or third parties that have previously filed a Petition for Remission/Mitigation with respect to the assets contained in the Preliminary Order of Forfeiture as to Specific Property/Money Judgment entered against Yanping "Yvette" Wang do not need to file another Petition for Remission/Mitigation with respect to Guo. 3In the event a final order of forfeiture is entered for any assets contained in Guo or Wang's forfeiture orders, the Government will evaluate all Petitions for Remission/Mitigation submitted in this case.

1On March 15, 2023, the United States Attorney's Office announced the unsealing of an indictment charging HO WAN KWOK, a/k/a "Miles Guo," and KIN MING JE, a/k/a "William Je," with wire fraud, securities fraud, bank fraud, and money laundering charges in connection with an alleged complex scheme to solicit more than $1 billion of investments in various entities and programs through false statements and representations. 2As charged, KWOK lied to his victims and promised them outsized returns if they invested in, or provided money to, KWOK-controlled entities, including GTV Media, the Himalaya Farm Alliance, G|CLUBS, and the Himalaya Exchange. 3KWOK and JE allegedly misappropriated hundreds of millions of dollars in fraudulently obtained funds, including for the purchase of a mansion and luxury vehicles. 4KWOK was arrested on March 15, 2023 in New York, New York. 5Je is currently at large. 6The case is assigned to United States District Judge Analisa Torres. 7Also on March 15, 2023, a complaint charging YANPING WANG, a/k/a "Yvette," with wire fraud, securities fraud, and money laundering charges was unsealed. 8As charged, Wang was a co-conspirator of KWOK and JE. 9See United States v.
